At South Coast Funeral Services, we have nearly 40 year’s experience in caring and looking after families. We understand that you will want the funeral to be personal Family Service.
So, we will discuss your requirements and plan the funeral service that is respectful of yours’s & loved one’s wishes.
CHOICE
We will always offer you a choice when choosing a coffin from our brochure, or if you should want a Minister or Celebrant to officiate at the service. We will take care of all the arrangements, so you can pay a fitting tribute to your loved one.

Floral Tributes
Flowers can be ordered through South Coast Funeral Service using our preferred florist and for ease can be added to the final funeral account. click the link on the “Floral Tributes” Page to see a full range of tributes available
Obituary Notice
We can help you write an obituary notice and place in a local or national newspaper of your choice, this can also be added to your final funeral account.

We are proud to offer a direct Cremation plus funeral choice with a 30-minute dignified full funeral service followed by a direct cremation.
We are fully aware many families struggle with not only costs of a funeral service at a time when things keep going up especially with a cost-of-living crisis. Budget is especially important So, we have combined a traditional service with a Direct Cremation Option

£1728 total amount payable
We never want any family to feel that their budget constraints force them into a direct cremation Or their loved ones wishes of a direct cremation goes against what they would also like to remember their loved one, “a funeral service is as important for those living as it is for their loved ones who have passed away”.
This option can be used as a Direct Cremation Or Traditional Funeral Option, please note as many as you wish can attend the service part of this option but with both these examples the Cremation part of the service is unattended.
Direct Cremation
If you’re looking to hold a separate service or your loved one requested something other than a traditional funeral, then a direct cremation may be the ideal alternative.
It provides you with an opportunity to hold a memorial service that’s more in line with the wishes of your loved one or you and your family. You can rely on our team to help you with every aspect of the cremation. The service is priced at £995. there is an additional £164 for the doctor’s fee. Direct Plus Cremation
Our direct cremation plus service is essentially the same as the direct cremation service, but with the caveat of a small 10- minute committal service only. It still offers a more practical and private service when compared to a traditional funeral but provides an opportunity for family and friends to pay their respects in a more formal way. From £1050 + Disbursements
After the cremation, the ashes can be if you wished returned to you or you can scatter them at a private location or at a garden of remembrance. They can also be incorporated into jewellery or kept at home in an urn if preferred.
